Title of Role Playing Game: Star Wars Notes
Date Created: This is a hard question. The oldest form of this role-play was created in 1996-1997. In its current form, it would be approximately 2001.
Age limit, if any: the youngest I will allow for this would be a mature 13 year old. I would prefer individuals who are at least in their late teens, but I have met some very mature young teens before.
Detailed Description: Star Wars
Hello everyone. I'm currently looking for people to play various characters in my Star Wars Notes role-play. This is a different sort of role-play than some people might be used to. What I'm specifically looking for is someone who is willing to play a character who will write to other characters in the story.
Please Note -- a knowledge of Star Wars is NOT necessary in order to participate in this role-play. I am willing to explain anything that you need to know to you in order for you to play a particular character.
I started this several years ago on other sites. In this RPG, I had various Star Wars characters write to other characters -- explaining to other characters what is going on in the story. The result of this is that a story is written from the perspectives of the characters, while they interact with each other. The story begins before The Phantom Menace and will go all the way up through Return of the Jedi. Right now, the story is almost at the end of The Phantom Menace. That is where I had to stop because of time constraints from school and other things. However, I decided to start it up again. I need characters. These Notes will be posted on a proboards forum.

For those who participate, you get to pretend to be a character and have influence on other characters, as well as the overall story. There are boundaries, though.
The reason that this role-play will be classified as AU is because, while generally following the story line of the movies, there are certain points that will be different. Also, there are additional characters and events. There are also questions that are answered in this role-play that are not covered in the movie. (Like how and why did Dooku become a Sith, what was Palpatine doing behind the scenes that caused everything to happen the way that it did, what would happen if Anakin was really able to free his mother, just how deep was the love between Anakin and Padme and how did it develop, etc.)
This role-play will take you through the events of the movies, and you will get to see these events through various different characters' eyes.

Needed characters:
Yoda = a leading member on the Jedi Council
Jango Fett = bounty hunter
Lama Su = prime minister of Kamino, in charge of the cloning operations on Kamino
Mace Windu = head of the Jedi Council
Ruwee = Padme's father
Valorum = was the Supreme Chancellor of the Senate and has been voted out of office
Padme Amidala = elected Queen of Naboo
Palpatine = former Senator of Naboo and is the new Supreme Chancellor of the Senate
Shmi = Anakin's mother
Dooku = Jedi Master disappointed with the way things in the Jedi Order are going
Obi-Wan = Jedi apprentice to Qui-Gon Jinn
Trade Federation leaders = Nute Gunray and Rune Hakko
Bail = in this story Bail Antilles and Bail Organa are the same person. He is both a Senator and ruler of Alderaan. Looking to fight corruption within the Senate.
Anakin = 9 year old boy who was a slave
Cliegg Lars = in this story he is Anakin's real father and Shmi's husband.
Jobal = Padme's mother
Jira = friend of Anakin, owns a shop on Tatooine
JarJar = Gungan from Naboo
Stormtrooper commander
Rhun = in this story Anakin's older brother
Zam = bounty hunter who works for Jango Fett
Dexter = friend of Ob-Wan and owner of a diner on Coruscant
Beru = girlfriend of Owen
Grevious = Sepratist general in the Clone Wars
Owen = in this story he is Anakin's brother
OTHER: This all depends on how many responses I get. If I have an overwhelming number of people who want to play the same character, I will have to require a sample of writing. What the participant would need to do would be to reply to a letter that I send them, pretending to be that character. Whoever does the best job with this will get the part.
A player is expected to regularly respond to other character’s messages. How often this will be needed depends on how quickly other players send me their notes. Players should plan to respond to their notes at least once per week. (It may be faster or slower, depending on how much time I have, and how much time other players have).
The game is currently at a stand still because I am trying to start it up again.
